Ilahie believes it is important to support its surrounding communities
One such example is the creation of a unique partnership, one of the first of its kind in the U.S., with Columbia
Land Trust. This long-term stewardship is structured around a 50-year management agreement for the conservation
of 700 acres of undeveloped land bordering the Columbia River. This land has been set aside to help preserve fish
and wildlife habitat along the river.
