200 SW Michigan - Boeing Plant I Building Restored 1929-1999
Foss Redevelopment has renovated the Original Boeing Headquarters
Building. The 83,000 square foot red brick structure was constructed in
1929 as the executive office building for Plant 1. The building served
as the corporate headquarters for Boeing until after World War II when
Plant 2 was built across the Duwamish River. The renovation has brought
back the high ceilings, abundance of natural light and open work areas
that were popular in 1929 as they are today.
